How it works

1. Add your picture Upload a JPG, PNG, WebP, BMP or GIF. Bold, flat colours and clear outlines stitch best, and a PNG with a transparent background leaves the background unstitched.
2. Pick your machine and hoop Choose your machine and hoop and the design is sized to fit, with its stitch speed and format set.
3. Match real threads Every colour is matched to a real spool from your thread brand, with its number. Change any of them.
4. Preview and download Watch every stitch sew out on screen, then download the file and copy it to your machine.

Getting the file onto the machine

Load the .DST over USB or the machine's network software, then set a needle for each colour stop from the thread sheet.

Tips

• Pick the hoop you'll actually sew with: the studio sizes the design to fit it, up to 360 x 450 mm.
• Each colour change moves to the next of the 15 needles, in the order of the thread list. Designs with more than 15 colours need rethreading partway, and the studio tells you when.
• .DST files don't store colours. Thread the machine from the thread sheet in the download.
